- Account & preferences. Settings such as your reminder times, language, and notification choices.
- Device & usage information. Basic technical details like device type, operating system, app version, and general usage patterns that help the app run smoothly.
- Purchase information. If you subscribe, the app store handles your payment. We receive confirmation of your subscription status, but not your full card details.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver your daily verses, reflections, and encouragement.
- Power the AI faith companion so it can respond helpfully.
- Remember your preferences and send the reminders you ask for.
- Provide customer support and respond to your messages.
- Improve the app, fix problems, and keep it secure.

AI Chat & Prayer Content
Your prayers and conversations with the faith companion are personal, and we treat them with care. To generate responses, the content of your messages may be processed by trusted AI service providers acting on our behalf. These providers are bound to handle that content securely and only to provide the service.
We may use anonymized or aggregated content to improve the quality and safety of the experience. The faith companion offers encouragement and reflection — it is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or pastoral advice. Subscriptions & Payments
Faith Mate may offer optional subscriptions. Purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store, and your subscription is governed by the app store's terms. Payment details such as your card number are handled by the app store, not by us. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's account settings.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the app is used — for example, which features are most helpful and where people run into trouble. This helps us make Faith Mate better. Wherever possible, this information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. While no app or service can promise perfect security, we work hard to keep your data safe and to limit who can access it.
Children's Privacy
